Akal Academy Dhugga Kalan is situated in village Dhugaa Kalan, 10 km away from National Highway NH44 town, Tanda adjoining village Ambala and village Johal approx 2-3 km, district Hoshiarpur, in the feet of Shiwalik hills, State Punjab. It is a private school running under the aegis of The Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib (Himachal Pradesh). This school was established in the year 2012 with the support of the people of this area by Padam Shri Ratan awardee Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji. It was started with a few number of students i.e. 102 in the year 2013 and now it has become a well- renowned school in this area with good strength of students, well-qualified faculty, and safe and secure infrastructure having very lush green surroundings.

It is not just an unparalleled educational institution but a celestial vision envisaged by reverend Sant Teja Singh Ji and Sant Attar Singh Ji; who envisioned a unique model of education in which vocational and spiritual knowledge are perfectly dovetailed. They propound such education because they did not want our present generations to endeavor towards attaining this novel aim of Sant Attar Singh Ji. Sardar Rawal Singh Dhugga Ji’s family donated land for this sacred mission.
