Facilities at a Lab

At Akal Academy Dhugga Kalan, we have developed modern and fully-equipped labs. Whereas students get the theoretical knowledge in the class environment, the practical aspect is taken care of by these well-furnished and state-of-the-art Labs.
Following well-furnished labs have been established: Fully Equipped Composite Science Lab.

Facilities at a Library

The library boasts an extensive collection of both Print and Digital reading resources to support and extend students' learning. It is also the place where students are encouraged to unwind by reading stories that are age-appropriate and are of different genres. The Library supports the ongoing classroom learning by conducting many activities and events:

The school Library has sufficient reading space for the teachers as well as for the students has been provided and properly marked in the Library measuring 40’-5” x 19’-67” 24” x 20’-43” (including the teachers’ corner) has been provided at the Akal Academy Dhugga Kalan (Hoshiarpur).

Presently, the number of books available in the School Library is sufficient, as per the number of students and as per the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws. More books will be added as and when required for the additional classes.

There is a provision for a separate reference section for the staff in the Library at the Akal Academy Dhugga Kalan

Computer Lab

At Akal Academy, Dhugga Kalan has a computer lab with a capacity to accommodate 40 students. The network systems are configured to allow internet access. Students have extensive access to the computers. The labs are also equipped with the latest software, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

Maths Lab

At Akal Academy, Dhugga Kalan has Mathematics laboratory has been set up as per the norms of CBSE where students can learn and explore mathematical concepts and mathematical facts and theorems through a variety of activities using different materials to stimulate interest and develop favorable attitudes towards mathematics.
